Value Rich Care Pathways is expanding into Winchester and the New Forest, and we're looking for an ambitious, innovative and driven Service Manager to lead the development of our newest service.

About the Role
This is a varied leadership role combining operational excellence with business development. You'll have the autonomy to develop the service locally, secure new private clients, build professional relationships and ensure the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care.
Working closely with our senior leadership team, you'll oversee a small but growing team while helping shape the future direction of our Hampshire service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of a CQC-regulated home care service.
- Develop and grow our private client portfolio through networking, relationship building and community engagement.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with local healthcare professionals, hospitals, GPs, solicitors, case managers and community organisations.
- Manage, motivate and develop a small but growing team, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
- Complete care assessments and oversee high-quality, person-centred care planning.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and company policies.
- Carry out audits, spot checks, quality assurance visits and supervisions to maintain exceptional standards.
- Monitor service performance, identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous quality.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
- Contribute to service innovation, project development and future business growth.
About You
We're looking for an inspiring leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding care while growing a successful service.
You'll be creative, forward-thinking and motivated by the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.
You'll have:
- Significant management experience within a CQC-regulated domiciliary or live-in care service.
- A proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-quality regulated services.
- Experience securing private clients and developing professional referral networks.
- Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to identify and create new business opportunities.
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Experience undertaking audits, governance, safeguarding and quality assurance activities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Project management experience would be advantageous.
- Good local knowledge or established connections within Winchester, the New Forest or the surrounding Hampshire area.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
