HITC Holiday Camp are looking to add a Holiday Camp Team Leader to our staff team. We are seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader to join our Holiday Camp programme in Heston , London Borough of Hounslow.

We are seeking a driven, organised and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children and young people. The postholder will lead on the planning, organisation and delivery of activities within our holiday camp programme, ensuring a safe, engaging and enjoyable experience for all participants.
This role consists of delivery during school holiday periods in Heston, London Borough of Hounslow. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
Leading the day-to-day delivery of holiday camp activities and supporting the overall participant experience.
Responsibilities
- Energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to working with children and young people of all abilities.
- Conduct regular activity sessions, ensuring they are engaging, educational, and tailored to the needs of camp participants.
- Organise and lead sports, enrichment and recreational activities, ensuring adherence to camp procedures and safeguarding standards.
- Foster teamwork, respect and positive behaviour among participants, encouraging a positive camp culture.
- To plan and deliver activities that prioritise participation, enjoyment and personal development within HITC core sessions.
- Provide impactful feedback and encouragement to participants to support engagement and confidence.
- Communicate effectively with participants, parents, carers and other staff members regarding participant welfare and development.
- Deliver consistent up-to-date communication with the Community Manager surrounding the journey of the camp sessions and have registers, reports and plans up to date for reviews.
- Identify areas for development and work closely with the Community Manager to ensure necessary delivery standards are met and developed.
- Monitor and drive the key delivery processes within the holiday camp programme to ensure positive outcomes are being achieved.
Essential Requirements
- First Aid qualified.
- Up-to-date Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willing to obtain).
- First Aid and Safeguarding Children certifications are preferred (or willingness to complete them promptly).
- Proven experience working with children and young people, particularly within holiday camps, schools, sports programmes or community settings.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Experience leading activities and supporting the development of children and young people.
