About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bar Manager to lead the operations of our festive pop-up bar in Salisbury. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee all aspects of bar service, ensure smooth daily operations, and deliver a magical Christmas experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
- Supervise, train, and motivate bar staff to maintain excellent customer service.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and deliveries to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the event.
- Handle cashing up, till management, and daily sales reporting.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Work closely with event management to maintain the festive theme and atmosphere.
- Make staff rotas and plan shifts
- Manage stock
- Handle customer queries and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe bar environment at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender in a busy venue.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, festive environment.
- Personal Licence Holder (preferred but not essential).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak holiday dates.
