As our project portfolio grows, we need an experienced Project Manager to keep our delivery standards exactly where our reputation demands.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a Project Manager with a genuine track record in electrical, M&E, or busbar project delivery to take full ownership of projects from award through to completion and handover. This role demands someone who has already managed the complexity of technical installations — budgets, subcontractors, programmes, and client expectations — and knows how to keep all of it moving in the right direction.
We're prioritising experience above all else. You should be someone who can walk onto any project, at any stage, and immediately know what needs to happen next.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing busbar and electrical distribution projects from planning through to completion, on time and on budget
- Coordinating internal engineering, procurement, and installation teams alongside subcontractors and suppliers
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and main contractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Managing project programmes, risk registers, and commercial performance
- Ensuring all work meets technical specifications, health & safety requirements, and quality standards
- Reporting project progress, forecasts, and issues to senior management
What We're Looking For
- Proven project management experience (5+ years) within electrical, M&E, or busbar/power distribution projects — this is essential, not preferred
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and electrical installation standards
- Track record of managing project budgets, programmes, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant qualification (Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent) and/or professional accreditation (e.g. APM, PRINCE2) is a plus
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required

All three roles are with BMS Services Limited, a specialist provider of busbar and power distribution systems. Salaries shown are indicative and benchmarked against current Glassdoor UK market data; final offers are dependent on candidate experience and will be discussed at interview.
Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
