Fancy being the first friendly face and voice people meet at our new showroom in Winchester?
We are kitchen and bathroom specialists across Hampshire and are looking for a Part-Time Admin Assistant to join the office team and be right at the heart of it.
This role is a mixture of admin and front of house. You'll be the first person a customer speaks to, whether that's a phone call, an email, or someone walking through the door. Behind that, you're helping keep the office and engineers running: bookings sorted, enquiries chased and the showroom looking the way it should.
Who you are
You're outgoing, organised, and motivated, the kind of person who's confident on the phone and just as comfortable managing emails and greeting people in person, sometimes all three in the same hour. You stay calm under pressure and when a few things land on your desk at once, you prioritise rather than panic.
You'll fit in here if you:
- Pick up the phone happily whether it’s a first enquiry or a returning customer
- Handle a busy morning without losing track of what's happening
- Take instruction well and ask when you're unsure, rather than guessing
- Build rapport easily and want people to remember the feeling you left them with
- Work well alongside a small team
- Are reliable, someone the team can count on to turn up and get stuck in
It's a bonus if you've worked somewhere similar before, admin in a trade or construction business, comfortable with job management software (we use ServiceM8), and happy working on a Mac.
What you'll be doing
- Answering calls and handling enquiries from Checkatrade, the website, and walk-ins
- Filtering calls and pointing people in the right direction
- Booking in quotations and reactive appointments with customers
- General office administration using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and our booking systems
- Keeping the showroom tidy and organised – first impressions are a big thing to us
About THT
We design and fit high-end kitchens and bathrooms across Hampshire, from full renovations to the finishing details that ensure our customers are happy. We’re a close team, everyone pitches in, and decisions get made together rather than filtering down through layers of management. We pride ourselves on our customer engagement and ensuring that their dreams for their home are materialised – attention to detail is one of the most important aspects of what we do. You'll be working alongside the office team day to day, with support close by while you learn the ropes, and once you're up to speed, you'll be trusted to use your own initiative and get on with it.
