The Steel Team Limited are an Essex based Steel Fabrication company supplying our clients across the South East of England. We are a large and growing team with plenty of opportunity for growth.
Experience/Qualifications
Structural Steel Detailing Experience (1-2 year minimum).
Competencies/Duties
Understanding of steel fabrication & installation
Able to work under pressure to meet required timescales
Ability to read and interpret Structural Engineer & Architect drawings
Ability to work efficiently and independently using their own initiative
Good communication skills and being able to liaise with subcontractors
Willingness to learn, to improve and develop your own skills.
Build and maintain good relations with all clients and suppliers and their project team personnel to promote the company values. In all interactions with customers, our culture of quality, professionalism, fairness, ‘can-do’ attitude should be held foremost in our client's minds.
Knowledge of current drawing practice and standards related to 3D model build, connections detailing and fabrication drawings.
Good working experience with office software such as Microsoft Office.
Good time management skills.
Good organisational skills.
Personable and able to work within a team environment, whilst displaying independence and initiative
Included within the role
3D modelling and detailing.
Creation of drawing issue sheets & RFI registers
Liaise with Contract Design teams, clients and fabricators
This position is office based.
Salary £40,000 (negotiable on experience)
