Job overview:
We are looking for amotivated Depot Operative to join our team, ideally with previous experience as a yard worker. The successful candidate should have a 'can do' attitude and the ability to take instruction, work on their own initiative and also follow Health & Safety Legislation.
Depot Operative:
Tank cleaning, Confined space work and Truck washing experience are all preferred but not essential. Chemical awareness would be an advantage.
Working Hours
16.00 - 23.30 Sunday to Thursday. Alternate Saturday morning 6am - 12 noon
Duties include
- Carry out heating of tanks following company procedures.
- Complete wash bay activities as instructed.
- Comply with all on site Health & Safety regulations.
- Undertake general depot work as instructed.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Carry out any general depot work as required.
- To operate all equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner
- Work may include confined space entry and operating specialist machinery
- Experience of industrial cleaning and/or tank cleaning is desirable
