Accurate cycle counting

Maintain the re-ordering system as required and proposing changes to order points

Communicate stock shortages in a timely manner to ensure stock levels are maintained to the agreed level

To ensure the stores area is kept in a clean and tidy manner

Receive and receipt goods into the department and make sure delivery note matches purchase order. To highlight any discrepancies in the appropriate manner (carrying out corporate governance role D – Inventory, with respect to Purchase to Pay Cycle – Goods and Services )

Despatch items for repair as and when required

Process work orders within the department when required

Issue relevant stock movement reports in the absence of the purchasing controller (engineering)

Any other reasonable duties as requested
