Granta Moorings are on the lookout for a Very Active, Sporty, Outgoing and Enthusiastic persons to join our FABULOUS Punting Crew this Autumn - IMMEDIATE START
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable persons to lead visitors and provide memorable experiences. The ideal candidates will possess excellent English communication skills and a passion for sharing knowledge. This role offers an opportunity to engage with diverse groups of visitors, showcase the University's highlights, and ensure guests have an enjoyable, safe and informative visit. Previous experience in punting or water-sports is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. We also require candidates to have least 2 years experience living or studying in Cambridge.

Responsibilities
- Lead guided tours for groups, ensuring safety and engagement throughout the visit
- Share detailed information about the University’s history and significance in an engaging manner
- Answer questions from visitors, providing additional insights as needed
- Maintain a welcoming environment by assisting visitors with any enquiries or concerns
- Ensure all adhere to safety protocols
- Collect feedback from visitors to improve future experiences and report any issues to management
Experience
- Previous punting experience and confident on water is advantageous
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for sharing knowledge and engaging others
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Organised with good time-management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule
