Location: South-East England Salary: £36,000–£40,000 (depending on experience)
About Us
With nearly 30 years as an established electrical contractor, our solar division is expanding rapidly. We deliver high‑quality solar PV and battery storage projects for Local and District Councils, Housing Associations, commercial clients, and domestic customers across the South‑East. Due to continued growth and strong client demand, we are looking to appoint an experienced Solar & Battery Storage Installer to join our delivery team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient installation of solar PV and battery storage systems across domestic and commercial sites. Working closely with installers, engineers, and project managers, you’ll help ensure each project is delivered to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV panels, inverters, and battery storage systems
- Work accurately from technical drawings and installation plans
- Ensure all work meets quality, health, and safety requirements
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and project managers
- Support site preparation, equipment handling, and system testing
- Maintain clear and accurate installation records
Requirements
- Experience in solar PV or battery storage installation
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and UK wiring standards
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit and confident working at height
- Proactive, safety‑focused, and able to work well within a team
- Full UK driving licence
