Edgbaston Wellness Clinic are seeking an ambitious, motivated and values-driven individual to join our organisation as Service Manager Apprentice.
This is not a traditional apprenticeship.
This position form part of a long-term organisational investment in developing the next generation of healthcare leaders capable of managing regulated healthcare services and ultimately progressing into Registered Manager position.
Successful candidates will be immersed in the operational, regulatory, governance and leadership functions of two thriving healthcare organisations whilst completing the nationally recognised Level 5 Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship.
Throughout the programme, apprentices will receive mentorship, structured development and practical leadership experience designed to prepare them for senior management responsibilities.

A Unique Dual-Site Development Programme
Each apprentice will be allocated a designated home site.
The apprentice will primarily be based at Edgbaston Wellness Clinic.
However, apprentices will routinely rotate between the two organisations throughout their apprenticeship.
This deliberate approach has been designed to ensure future leaders understand:

The apprenticeship has been selected because it closely aligns with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required of future Registered Managers within regulated healthcare environments.

- Supporting CQC readiness and compliance.

Essential Requirements
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- Eligibility to undertake a Level 5 Apprenticeship.

- Strong IT and digital literacy skills.

- Ability to travel between both sites as required.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in healthcare, social care or customer-facing environments.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Understanding of CQC-regulated services.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
Enhanced DBS and Safer Recruitment Requirements
As these positions involve working within regulated healthcare services and may involve access to vulnerable adults and children, appointment is subject to:
