Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders efficiently and providing excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed to uphold health regulations
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling cash, card payments, and issuing receipts
- Restock supplies such as cups, lids, coffee beans, and other essentials to keep operations running smoothly
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quick turnaround times during busy periods
Experience
- Previous barista experience is demanded and customer interaction is key
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve engaging with diverse customers
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order processing
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Comfort with multitasking in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
