Role Information
Own and manage the credit control function and aged receivables ledger.
Issue client statements and follow up outstanding balances promptly.
Work with internal teams to resolve debtor queries and remove payment barriers.
Manage overdue and high-risk accounts, agreeing clear actions to maximise cash collection.
Build strong relationships with clients, Partners, Directors and Project Teams.
Provide updates at cash collection meetings, highlighting risks, actions and progress.
Maintain accurate debtor records and produce clear collection reports.
Use systems and process improvements to support efficient cash collection.
Essential skills/qualifications
Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable or cash collection.
Confident managing debtor ledgers, overdue accounts and collection priorities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a professional but firm approach.
Able to build positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Organised, proactive and comfortable working to collection targets.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
