We are looking for a talented and creative Content Creator and Social Media Executive to join our team. This role offers the chance to take ownership of our digital storytelling, growing our online presence and driving engagement with our brands.
Role Overview:
As a Content Creator and Social Media Executive, you’ll craft compelling content to elevate our brand across all digital platforms. You’ll bring our venues, events, and campaigns to life, connecting with audiences and encouraging them to experience the Dean Banks Group first-hand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute social media strategies to amplify the Dean Banks Group’s profile and drive engagement.
- Travel to each of the locations around Edinburgh, St Andrews and Dundee to capture content, you'll be on-site a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Produce eye-catching content, including photography, video, and written posts, tailored for each social media platform.
- Manage and grow our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring a cohesive brand voice.
- Plan and schedule posts using social media management tools to maintain consistent, high-quality content output.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with the marketing and events teams to align digital content with broader business objectives.
- Keep up with the latest trends and platform developments to ensure our content stays fresh and relevant.
- Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
About You:
- Proven experience in content creation and managing social media platforms for a brand or business.
- Strong skills in photography, videography, and content editing.
- Excellent written communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- UK driving license & car to travel to each of the locations.
- A creative mindset with a passion for food, drink, and the hospitality industry.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of Scottish cuisine or hospitality would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
