Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain stock control to minimise waste.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment centred on continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold quality standards and optimise workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.

- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
