Responsibilities
Finance
- Processing and checking of all purchase invoices and staff/volunteers expenses through to settlement, ensuring that they are appropriately approved, as per TTVS Financial Controls Policy.
- Raising sales invoices, credit control for Core, as required.
- Producing timely debtors report monthly.
- Banking cheques and cash.
- Reconciling bank accounts including Petty Cash to Trial Balance at the beginning of each month, to the previous month’s Trial Balance.
- Recharging internal and external costs to projects via memorised journals.
- Process monthly payroll, raising payments to staff, HMRC and Pension Provider.
- Reconcile PAYE control accounts.
- Filing of all documentation generated by payroll in a streamlined and efficient way (ensure that TTVS Data Protection and Data Retention policies are adhered to)
HR
- Support and assist Finance, HR, Office Manager as and when required.
Occupancy Agreements
- Produce Occupancy Agreements to be signed by the hiree and TTVS Management.
- Ensure hiree receives the fire procedures, notes on leaving the building and issue keys.
- Produce sales invoices to the hiree and monitor through to payment.
- Notify hiree of any cause for concern, such as works to the building.
General
- Hold responsibility for the Finance email account, ensuring all emails are responded to in a timely manner.
- Undertake any other reasonable request that support TTVS and are appropriate to the level of the post.
- Maintain all records on Breathe.

Requirements
It is essential to have:
Education, Qualifications
- A good level of basic education
- Sage 50 Cloud and Sage Payroll
Experience
- Experience of establishing or administering systems for monitoring and evaluation.
Knowledge or Awareness
- Keep up to date with HMRC changes to Employment Laws.
Skills
- Outstanding communication and, in particular, listening skills.
- Organised, with good administrative skills.
- Able to structure own work and work independently.
- Able to support the production of written material and reports to a high standard.
- Skilled in the use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc) and comfortable with email and internet technology.
- Can work as part of a team.
- A flexible and self-motivated approach – must be able to show initiative.
