Overview
We are seeking a skilled Coded TIG Welder specialising in stainless steel to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in TIG welding and fabrication, with a focus on precision and quality. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
- Execute fabrication tasks involving sheet metal and other materials using appropriate welding techniques
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during assembly processes
- Conduct quality checks on welded joints to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Assist in the setup and calibration of welding equipment to maintain consistent weld quality
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring high standards of workmanship
Skills
- Proven expertise in TIG welding, particularly on stainless steel materials
- Strong understanding of welding standards and practices
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
- Experience with sheet metal work and assembly processes is highly desirable
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance
Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
