Daily responsibilities include:
- Planning of routes via software and allocation of drivers and vehicles.
- Ensure pre brief & de briefings are undertaken at start of shift and end of shift for all transport movements
- Customer ETAs and delivery requests
- Review driver performance to achieve high standards of customer service.
- Ensure a high level of PDA compliance is achieved
- Ensure all product returns procedures are adhered to
- Delivery confirmations
- Ensure all relevant information is recorded for transport KPIs
- Liaise with customers to resolve and delivery issues
- Liaise with warehouse and admin departments to achieve effective running of the operation
- Help to Organise service and maintenance of vehicles in line with legal requirements
- Assist with logistics, loading and unloading, also cover for some deliveries where required.
- Investigate driver incident reports
- Assist Health and Safety within legal requirements
- Undertake any tasks as reasonably requested by management

Personal Qualities / Behaviours
- Ability to effectively coordinate people and drivers with professionalism and strong communication skills.
- Transport legislation e.g. drivers hours, compliance on vehicles desirable.
- Experience within a busy transport office desirable.
- Good communication skills.
- Works well in a small team.
- Ability to complete tasks under strict timelines.
- Great organisational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft office specifically Excel.
