About CPMS
Working throughout the UK rail network, CPMS provides a diverse range of services including – Station platform construction, maintenance and refurbishment works. We also undertake bridgeworks, station roofs and canopies. Building maintenance and refurbishment is carried out in stations, depots, signal boxes, lineside buildings, arches, carparks and roadways. We currently undertake PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as well as Civil and HVAC works and M&E services. Our clients include Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Freight Operating Companies, Heritage Railways and Light Rail.
About the Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Joiner, who is ideally based in the West Coast Area, to join our team.
The successful candidate should be a fully qualified Joiner and will be responsible for undertaking project joinery works, within a construction and rail environment. The successful candidate will complete works for a number of our clients, with the majority of works being undertaken within the railway sector.
Role Responsibilities:
- Joinery works, including, new installations, scoping works and ad hoc duties as required by the business.
- Ensuring work is executed and completed to a high standard and within given timescales.
- Maintaining a professional level of service to the company’s clients and maintaining relationships.
- Completion of required paperwork to a satisfactory standard.
- Comply in accordance with health & safety legislation at all times.
What we are looking for:
- Time-served joiner, with valuable experience in all aspects of the trade.
- Experience working within the construction/rail industry.
- PTS competence would be desirable, but not deemed essential. Full training and certification will be provided, if required, for the successful candidate.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience of working under strict health and safety legislation and procedures, including the use of dynamic risk assessments.
- Availability to travel throughout Scotland as required
