We are looking for a motivated and organized Nursery Administrator to join our friendly and committed team at our Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ nursery in Ilkeston on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).

Your Role at MRN
As a Nursery Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Management team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery’s operations. You’ll be the friendly face and first point of contact for parents, children, and staff, making sure everyone feels welcome and valued.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Nursery Management team.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records for staff, children, and parents.
- Offering excellent customer service by handling inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Resolving queries from parents and staff promptly and professionally.
- Creating a welcoming environment for parents, children, and visitors.
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
What We’re Looking For
We are searching for a driven individual with great communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience as a Nursery Administrator or in a client-facing administrative role.
- Be familiar with the EYFS framework and have strong attention to detail.
- Enjoy working collaboratively with parents, children, and colleagues.
- Be committed to safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.
- Employment is subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
