Job Overview
I am seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join me at my small family feel childminding buissness on a Monday - Thursday from 8am- 4pm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children, facilitating their development, and ensuring their well-being while fostering a positive atmosphere.
Duties
- Working with me to care for early years children from 12 months- 4 years.
- Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, including play, arts and crafts, and educational games.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English to provide updates on children's progress and any concerns.
- Manage daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment by working with myself as a team.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding children in their interactions and helping them resolve conflicts.
- We are walking distance to the canal and park so driving is not necessary as we do not use the car.
- We have a puppy and rabbits so much be comfortable with animals..
Requirements
- Previous experience in chidcare or caring for children preffered
- I will need to get a DBS check for you and put you on a First aid course.
- Punctual and reliable
- Confident to be left un attended for a short period whilst I do the local school run for my two daughters.
- Happy to discuss bringing your own child if they are entitled to working parent government funding or an older child in the school holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
