Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Assist with carpentry tasks or other related duties as required on-site.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting materials or equipment.
- Maintain organised work areas and keep accurate records of work performed.
Skills
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
- Knowledge of carpentry is advantageous for certain projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience in commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials between sites.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
