Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food prep stations and seating areas
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all products meet health standards
- Handle cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills for change and totals
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or snacks to complement beverages
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee shop operations is highly desirable
- Experience in serving customers confidently and professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Good communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
