Job Title:
Day Services Support Worker.
Main Purpose of Job:
You will be supporting adults with special needs/learning difficulties, including taking them out into the community on activities.
To provide support to individuals attending the day service ensuring they are supported and safe at all times. Other tasks as detailed in each individual service user’s care plan. Staff must provide a high standard of support in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Staff must act professionally with service users, parents/caregivers and the general public at all times when they are working for Compassionate Care Day Services Ltd.

Managing Director.
Main Tasks of Job:
- Assisting individuals we support, to participate in in-house and community activities.
- Where required, assisting the individuals we support with personal care this will involve supporting individuals with dressing and undressing and assisting with all toilet and continence requirements.
- In the event of any safeguarding concerns staff must notify the managing director and then ensure the individual in question or their family has given their consent prior to any examination, care, treatment or support taking place and that all individuals we support are treated with respect.
- Staff must log all concerns in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Supporting service users with their meals and the provision of beverages.
- Carrying out tasks as specified in the service user’s care plan, enabling the service user to carry out as much self-care and other activities as possible to promote independence.
- Supporting the Service user with their money when buying meals or other items. Ensuring accurate and up to date finance records are kept.
- Keeping accurate and detailed record keeping whilst maintaining the Service. Ensuring all paperwork is up to date for the service user you will be supporting. This includes communication diaries, as well as the client’s care plans.
- Contribute to the team effort and attend team meetings. Attend appraisals and supervisions.

Part-time hours: 10-35 per week

- Time range: 09 am to 4pm
- No weekends
