Finance Analyst - Utilities (m/f/d)

Here´s what your responsibilities in the role would look like:
- Producing utilities accruals for large, multi-site customers
- Reconciling utilities accounts and investigating queries
- Preparing utilities budgets and forecasts
- Analysing utility costs and margins — variances, trends and improvement
- Supporting month-end with journals, accruals and prepayments
- Supporting monthly management accounts and operational P&L reporting
- Ad-hoc financial analysis with the wider Operations team
- Producing utilities financial reports
- Developing internal and external financial reporting
What we require of you:
- Experience in a finance or accounts role, or a recent graduate keen to learn
- A good understanding of accruals and the basics of month-end
- Studying towards AAT / ACCA / CIMA welcome, or qualified by experience
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with AI tools an advantage
- Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills; well organised and works to deadlines
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and happy to support other business areas
