Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in enterprise integration, API architecture, governance and MuleSoft to support a major transformation programme within a leading automotive organisation.
This role will be responsible for defining integration strategies, governing architectural standards and delivering scalable API-led solutions across a complex enterprise landscape. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical delivery teams and enterprise architecture functions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain enterprise integration and API architecture standards.

Lead solution architecture activities across multiple programmes and projects.

Design scalable, secure and reusable integration solutions.

Establish and govern API-first principles and best practice.
-
Produce high-level and low-level solution designs.
-
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners and Delivery Teams.

Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
-
Lead architecture governance forums and design authority reviews.
-
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps.

Support vendor and third-party integration initiatives.
-
Drive adoption of reusable integration patterns and frameworks.

Manage architectural risks, dependencies and technical debt.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification

Azure DevOps / Security certifications (advantageous)

RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture and messaging technologies.

Experience producing architecture artefacts and roadmaps.
