Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial spaces. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will ensure that our facilities meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to keep all areas spotless.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed diligently.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
The hours of work required are 5pm - 7pm Monday to Friday
Pay: £12.71 per hour
