Job Summary
We are seeking friendly,. well presented and professional Bar Staff to join our team for evening and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a vibrant team, providing quality service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. All positions are paid with flexible hours suited to evening and weekend availability. Shifts will vary according to business needs and will be over Thursday to Sundays'.
Duties
- Serve drinks and organise bar orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock supplies as needed during shifts to ensure smooth operation
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote a safe environment
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- General cleaning duties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
- A personable attitude with strong communication skills
- Smart and well presented
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
