Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Multi Skilled Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, enabling them to contribute effectively to multiple aspects of building and maintenance projects. Responsibilities
- Assisting with carpentry tasks, including framing, fitting, and finishing work
- Performing roofing repairs and installation as required
- Applying paint and finishes during construction or refurbishment projects
- Conducting plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Executing masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
- Operating welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes
- Handling electrical tasks, including installing wiring and fixtures (where qualified)
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently across various trades
- Assisting with fabrication work on-site, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Supporting team members in maintaining a clean, organised work environment and adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or plumbing is highly desirable
- Practical knowledge of construction painting, welding, electrical systems, and fabrication techniques
- Competence in the use of hand tools and power tools within a construction setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to different tasks and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Prior experience working on-site in residential or commercial projects is advantageous
- A valid relevant qualification or certification in any of the trades listed is preferred but not essential for all roles
