Summary of the role:
The Engineering Production Admin controller s responsible for the accurate control, administration of active aircraft maintenance documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures and to meet production scheduling targets. The role supports the hangar production management team by managing maintenance work packs, maintaining accurate records throughout the maintenance process and providing administrative support to the Hangar Check Managers to ensure the efficient delivery of aircraft maintenance activities.
Production Admin Control
- Ensure all maintenance records, work cards and supporting documentation are correctly completed, controlled and returned to planning department.
- Assist with Scanning and electronically filing completed work cards and maintenance records in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain document control throughout the maintenance process, ensuring full traceability and record integrity.
- Update customer maintenance management data base as required.
- Envision Tracking+ Key user
- Maintain accurate document registers.
- Liaise with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality and the Hangar Check Managers to resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Ensure all controlled documents are handled in accordance with company procedures and applicable aviation regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the Production management team and Hangar Check Managers.
- Monitor the progress of maintenance documentation throughout aircraft check inputs and highlight any outstanding documentation to the Hangar Check Managers.
- Support maintenance project close-out activities and ensure all documentation is complete before aircraft release.
- Assist the Hangar Check Managers with administrative tasks to support the efficient management of aircraft maintenance inputs.
- To monitor and correct engineering staff time management, in conjunction with Clocking system reports.
Essential
- Previous experience in document control or administration role within an aviation environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and professionalism.
Desirable
- Experience within an aviation MRO, aerospace or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and work pack control.
- Familiarity with Part-145 maintenance documentation and an overview of regulatory requirements.
- Experience using various maintenance tracking systems (AMOS/OASIS ETC)
