Arborist
This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your arboricultural career within one of London's most diverse and valued urban forests.
Working as part of a skilled and professional arboricultural team, you will help manage and maintain trees across our parks, country parks and open spaces, including several historically significant and biodiverse sites.

What you'll do

Work as part of a skilled team delivering high-quality arboricultural operations

Undertake tree pruning, dismantling and general tree maintenance works

Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, professionalism and workmanship

Work across some of London's most historic, ecologically rich and high-profile green spaces
-
Contribute to the long-term management of heritage trees and public open spaces
About You
We are looking for someone who has:

Proven climbing experience

A genuine passion for arboriculture and the management of public green spaces

Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
-
The ability to work effectively as part of a team

A full UK driving licence

City & Guilds NPTC Units 201 & 202 (formerly CS30) - Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting
-
City & Guilds NPTC Unit 203 (formerly CS31) - Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm
-
City & Guilds NPTC Units 206/306 (formerly CS38) - Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue
-
City & Guilds NPTC Unit 308 (formerly CS39) - Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw
Desirable Qualifications

NPTC 221 - Wood Chipper Operations

NPTC 222 - Stump Grinder Operations
-
NPTC 223 - MEWP Operations
-
NPTC 225 - Chainsaw from MEWP

Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry
