We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership qualities and a background in retail or hospitality. The successful candidate will support the pubs daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly desirable to facilitate communication with diverse clientele and team members. The Assistant Manager will play a vital role in driving sales, managing merchandising, and fostering a positive working environment.
Duties
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance and support to optimise performance
- Manage sales targets and develop strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate merchandising activities to maintain an attractive and organised store layout
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, stock control, and reporting
- Ensure high standards professional communication with customers and staff
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees
- Monitor compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
- Contribute to achieving organisational goals through effective team management and leadership
