Holiday Cover Support Worker required to support a 7 year old girl with autism who lives in Newton Aycliffe
Are you kind, patient, up for a bit of fun and laughter?
I’m looking for a second worker to support my beautiful, energetic and curious 7-year-old daughter with autism who is non-verbal and also has epilepsy (under control) — someone who can become a trusted companion, help her enjoy her holidays, and make lovely memories together.
This is more than just childcare/job. It’s about building trust with her, having fun, and helping a young girl thrive.
You’ll be supporting her 1:1 during school holidays, helping her access activities and enjoy her time off school in a safe, positive and supportive way. You will help with her personal care too (changing nappies)
She is a bright, loving child who enjoys getting out and about, she can sometimes experience anxiety or sensory overwhelm. She needs a calm, understanding adult who can provide reassurance, structure and encouragement.
