Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and upholding the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitised.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required to provide a comfortable experience for guests.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens in a timely manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all items are cleaned and returned efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain an organised cleaning cart and ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A background in hotel environments would be advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently while managing time efficiently is essential.
