Freelance Form F Assessors – South East Region
UK Fostering is an Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ fostering agency and is seeking qualified social workers to undertake Form F fostering assessments across the South East regions.
We are looking for assessors who can offer a high-quality, reflective and analytical approach to assessment writing. Applicants should have strong experience in social work assessment and report writing, either through completing Form F assessments or other statutory or specialist assessment roles. A confident use of professional curiosity, alongside the ability to triangulate evidence from multiple sources to inform balanced, well-reasoned analysis, is essential.
UK Fostering uses its own Form F assessment template, which is closely aligned to the CoramBAAF framework. Clear guidance, quality assurance and professional support are provided throughout the assessment process, from allocation through to panel.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a recognised Social Work qualification
- Be registered with Social Work England
- Demonstrate strong analytical assessment and report-writing skills
- Show confidence in applying professional curiosity and triangulating evidence within assessments
- Have a sound safeguarding background
- Have experience completing Form F assessments, or experience in related roles such as children’s social care, youth offending services, adoption or connected persons assessments
