Social Worker – Court Team

Working Pattern: Monday–Friday | 09:00–17:00

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete high-quality assessments and court reports within statutory timescales
- Manage a caseload involving Private Law and Public Law Outline (PLO) proceedings
- Represent the local authority in Family Court, providing professional evidence
- Build effective relationships with children, young people, and families
- Work collaboratively with legal teams and multi-agency professionals
- Apply evidence-based practice to ensure the best outcomes for children
- Advocate for children using a strengths-based and child-centred approach
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Experience within a Court Team / Child Protection / Safeguarding service
- Strong knowledge of Family Court processes, Private Law, and Public Law
- Ability to produce clear, analytical court reports
- Confident in court attendance and giving evidence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
