Are you passionate about making a real difference to the lives of children with SEND?
Kings Park School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our Pioneers Pathway – a specialist provision for learners who thrive through play, exploration, relationships and personalised learning.
This is far more than a classroom role. You'll spend your days supporting children to build confidence, communicate, regulate their emotions and celebrate every small success. From sensory play and outdoor learning to community visits and creative activities, no two days are the same.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism and ADHD.
- Is patient, kind and enjoys building positive relationships.
- Believes every child can succeed with the right support.
- Is happy to get involved in play, messy activities and outdoor learning.
- Is willing to support pupils with personal and intimate care where required.
- Wants to be part of a supportive, passionate and growing school community.
In return we offer:
- A genuinely rewarding role where you can make a lasting difference.
- Small class sizes and a highly supportive team.
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- A therapeutic, child-centred approach where relationships come first.
- Opportunities to contribute to an exciting and expanding specialist school.
Kings Park School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required for the successful candidate.
