Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled meats, vegetables, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Assist in meal preparation by marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients for grilling
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality presentation of dishes
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee perfectly cooked meals every time
- Serve finished dishes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction through quality control
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for handling raw ingredients and cooked foods
- Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on grilling techniques and meal preparation methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues
- Prior restaurant experience is highly preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates willing to learn
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
