We're looking for a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or looking for your next exciting opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a key role in creating an environment where children feel valued, inspired and ready to thrive.
You'll:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support every child's individual interests and stage of development.
- Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, investigate and develop confidence.
- Observe, assess and celebrate children's progress, using the EYFS framework to plan meaningful next steps in learning.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents and carers, working together to support each child's development.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing, communication, independence and social development through warm, responsive interactions.
- Maintain accurate observations and learning records that celebrate children's achievements and support future planning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistently high standards of care, education and professionalism.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive nursery environment where children and families feel part of the community.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and children's wellbeing remain central to everything you do.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A DfE-approved Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding.
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for giving children the very best start in life.
