The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Production Operative to join our factory team in Chester on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a hands-on, physically active role within a manufacturing environment, supporting the production of high-quality timber playground equipment including climbing frames, seating and outdoor structures.
Full training will be provided.
PPE will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and assemble timber playground equipment
- Measure and cut materials accurately
- Operate, Load, Unload and assist in programming CNC machinery
- Use hand and power tools
- Pack, wrap and prepare products for delivery
- Maintain stock and warehouse organisation
- Carry out machine safety checks
- Follow health & safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Organised and proactive approach
- Willingness to work in a physically active role
Desirable Skills:
- Manufacturing experience
- Woodworking/joinery experience
- CNC machine experience – Including programming, loading and unloading etc.
- Forklift licence
- First Aid certification
