Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Glasgow Airport Business Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. This role is essential in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and visitors.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, toilets and communal areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment by returning equipment to its designated area after use.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting or moving items as necessary.
