Events Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough (In-person)
Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday
About the Role
We are looking for a practical, organised Events Assistant to join our team in Middlesbrough. This is a hands-on role where you will support the planning, setup, and day-to-day running of our events while acting as the main point of contact for our guests.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Event Setup & Logistics: Helping with the physical setup, styling, and breakdown of event spaces and promotional areas.
- Customer Service: Welcoming guests, managing the registration desk, answering questions, and ensuring attendees have a great experience.
- Event Coordination: Working alongside the events team to keep schedules on track and handle any live-event troubleshooting.
- Admin Support: Keeping track of guest lists, managing event supplies, and assisting with general day-to-day admin tasks in the office.
What We Are Looking For:
Essential:
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Excellent time management—you need to be reliable and punctual.
- A flexible approach to tasks, with the ability to think on your feet when plans change.
- Ability to work well within a small, busy team.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, or promotional work.
- Experience assisting with conferences, exhibitions, or corporate events.
