Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining spotless, hygienic, and welcoming environments across various business settings. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and safety of commercial spaces, ensuring they meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. Whether you're experienced in janitorial work or eager to develop your skills in commercial cleaning, this role provides a rewarding environment where your attention to detail makes a real difference. The position is for 2 hours per day, 5 days per week. Working hours are flexible and can be completed either early in the morning before the practice opens or in the evening after the practice closes, allowing cleaning to take place outside of our opening hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Handle waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied and areas remain tidy
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and prioritize tasks effectively to maximize efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and organization
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated timeframes
- Clear understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene
