Roll Maker & Shop Assistant - Immediate Start - Must be 16 +
We're looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our team as a Seasonal Roll Maker & Shop Assistant on a temporary basis throughout the busy summer months.
If you enjoy working with people, like keeping busy, and take pride in doing a good job, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be preparing fresh rolls, helping to serve customers, keeping the shop clean and well presented, and working as part of a friendly team. Experience is welcome, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing fresh rolls and other food items to a high standard.
- Assisting with serving customers and providing friendly, helpful service when required.
- Operating the till and handling payments when required.
- Keeping the kitchen and shop clean, tidy, and well stocked.
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
- Helping with stock replenishment and general day-to-day shop tasks.
- Pitching in wherever needed during busy periods.
What we're looking for
- A friendly, positive attitude and good customer service skills.
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team.
- The ability to stay organised and work well in a busy environment.
- A willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks.
- Basic maths skills for using the till and handling payments.
- Previous experience in food preparation, retail, or hospitality is helpful, but not essential - full training will be provided.
