Active Education Sussex is excited to recruit a Play Leader for our brand-new Wrap Around Care Club based in an Uckfield Primary School Setting.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and motivated individual to lead our after-school and evening sessions for children aged 4–11 years. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can learn and play.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver fun and engaging activities, including:
- Arts and crafts
- Sports and physical activities
- Creative and educational play experiences
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children attending the club.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
- About You
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children in a school, childcare, or community setting.
- Be able to lead activities confidently and encourage participation from all children.
- Hold relevant childcare qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- Have an understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.

Hours
Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 5:45pm
Session times are 3:15pm – 5:30pm, 15 minutes each side of these session times are for session set up and delivery preparation.
39 weeks a year (school weeks)
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
