Support Worker – Adult Day Service (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Due to growing demand for our service, we are looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers to join our friendly team.
This is a rewarding role supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, independent lives through meaningful activities in the community and at our day service.
Hours
- Full-time or part-time positions available
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm
- One Saturday in every 8 weeks (9:00am – 1:00pm)
- No evening shifts
- No bank holidays
About the Role
You will support individuals on either a 1:1 basis or in small groups (typically no more than three service users to one member of staff). Every person has an individual care plan, and support is tailored to their goals, interests and needs.
Activities may include:
- Swimming
- Horse riding
- Gym sessions
- Music and drama
- Cooking
- Community outings
- Life skills
- Money management
- Arts and crafts
- Shopping
- Volunteering
No two days are the same!
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, patient and positive attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to your own car
- Business-use motor insurance (required as you will use your own vehicle to transport service users)
Previous care experience is not essential – full training and ongoing support will be provided.
