We are seeking a Senior Communications Officer to join our team!
Based in Nottingham, this role is vital in managing internal and external communication strategies to support organizational change initiatives and promote engagement within the NHS community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans for organizational change projects.
- Strong writing skills, Video editing, News Writing
- Manage internal communications to ensure staff are informed and engaged.
- Coordinate with various departments to craft clear and consistent messaging.
- Monitor communication effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Support leadership in communicating key changes and initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with media and external stakeholders.
- Create content for newsletters, intranet, social media, and other channels.
- Ensure all communications align with NHS values and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in change management communication or related roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of healthcare sector or public health communications is preferred.
- Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field is desirable.
