About Us
We are a growing, established accountancy practice in Rugby with 350+ clients and a steady flow of new business (circa 12+ new clients per month plus walk-ins).
We pride ourselves on being approachable, efficient, and proactive in supporting our clients.
The Role
You will be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in ensuring new and existing clients are looked after efficiently.
This is a hands-on, varied role combining client interaction, onboarding, admin coordination, and light marketing.

It will suit someone who is highly organised, confident dealing with clients, and comfortable chasing information.
This role is not suitable for:
- Applicants with no office-based experience
- Candidates looking for a quiet or purely back-office admin role
- Those uncomfortable speaking with clients regularly
Key Responsibilities
Client Contact & Front-of-House
- Welcoming clients (in person and on the phone)
- Managing appointments and enquiries professionally
- Creating a positive first impression at all times
Client Onboarding
- Setting up new clients from initial enquiry through to engagement
- Issuing engagement letters and compliance documents
- Ensuring all required information is collected promptly
Chasing & Workflow Support
- Proactively chasing clients for records (this is a key part of the role)
- Keeping jobs moving so accounts and tax returns can be completed on time
- Supporting the team with deadlines and workflow tracking
Social Media
- Posting regular updates on Facebook/LinkedIn
- Promoting deadlines, tips, and firm updates
- Responding to basic online enquiries
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous office-based admin or client-facing experience
- Confident communicator (phone, email, and in person)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable chasing clients and following up persistently
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in an accountancy practice or professional services
- Familiarity with onboarding or compliance processes
- Experience managing business social media accounts
