Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment.
This is too work across two offices in the business park 10hrs per week in one and 6hrs per week spread over the 5 days in another working along side another staff member
must be flexible to help with holiday cover.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure they meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when stock levels are low
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy, organised, and presentable at all times
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning standards
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
