Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and organised Sales Administrator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support the sales department by processing orders, managing customer enquiries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Duties
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Maintain customer accounts and update CRM and ERP systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor order status and provide updates to customers.
- Handle returns, credits, and customer complaints professionally.
- Prepare sales reports and performance data for management.
- Maintain accurate product pricing and customer information.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks and documentation.
- Ensure all records comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with CRM software is essential.
- Strong computer literacy skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new IT systems such as Sage or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English—both written and verbal—to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with sales processes, administrative procedures, or customer service environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced setting.
